We stayed for a week, the hotel is in a great location so for a couple of days you can just walk around. The rooms are cleaned daily, they are small, not a lot of space for your clothes but we just slept there and didn’t have much clothes so it was ok for us. We had a great view from our 39th floor and staff was super friendly. There is a coffee and tea in your room, also available for free in a reception every day.You can find fridge and microwave in your room. I have read a lots of complaints about breakfast but we weren’t disappointed, we have been there in February and didn’t queue long time for the breakfast, there are 2 floors so you can either sit downstairs or upstairs depending on availability, the staff is helpful. The breakfast contains bagels, toasts, jams and butter, peanut butter, guacamole, muffins, they have gluten free options as well, fruit, porridge, cereals, American cheese and salad, also some eggs, bacon and of course juices, tea and coffee. The cold cut selection is small but you are in America so expect American breakfast.they don’t have a problem if you pack some of the food with you, during our stay we have seen every other room packing food to take with them, which is not allowed in many hotels and also we didn’t understand it cause if we would pack some food with us, we wouldn’t try anything outside and hey, it is all about food in New York.😊I would definitely come back.Thank you for making our stay great.

The hotel is perfectly located, 2 mins by foot from the 1 train that takes you everywhere. Room clean and good size for 1 or 2 people (by NYC standards, that is). The bathroom is a bit small, but well arranged, not suitable for two people who are not intimate, tbh, due to the door being sliding. I'm glad my friend and I didn't share a room. Breakfast was good, and the wait was not that bad as mentioned in other comments. We tried from 7 am until 8:15 am, and never waited for more than a couple of minutes. There's people at breakfast, but it is expected in a hotel like this. Special mention to the personnel in the breakfast room. They work A LOT, to make sure everything is ok and you can find always everything you need. Really bravo to them. About the elevators, we didn't have to wait more than maximum... 5 mins? Maybe even less and it was only once or twice that we had to wait "that" long. We were in floor 36. Views were amazing, I could see the ESB from my room. All in all, a very good stay, better than what we expected by reading some comments.

I was amazed by this hotel. My expectations were a bit low, because New York is known for pricey and tiny hotel rooms. But SpringHill Suites really surprised me. Hotel room even with the bathroom was quite spacious (even for my 6'9" huge husband) and we got a beautiful view of Empire State Building. Check-in process was quick. They even provided us a transfer back to the airport (compared to the cab it was a real bargain). Breakfast was good, sufficient, very crowded, but they would give you a table within a few minutes in the line. There was plant-based milk, gluten-free options, but hardly any vegetables (but that's just America, I guess..). Hotel itself is just a few steps away from a subway. Just round the corner there is a grocery store and a liquor store. And the best thing – it is located in a flower district. So there are tons of flower shops and flowers in the streets. I couldn't get enough of it. It was a great stay. I am definitely going to repeat it. Highly recommend it. Good value for your money.

Very well-located hotel. Staff is very helpful - we got a room on the top floor as my mom had her 70th birthday. Even gave me and my brother another room with two beds. Views are spectacular - and the location is superb with the metro on 28th street around corner. Rooms are not big but clean, modern and what you need. Breakfast is sold but could use a bit more variety. There is a small gym which could have a little bit more variety.

Definitely location was excellent. We're visiting from Australia so we wanted a place closeby to the attractions but not smack bang in the middle of Times Square or it would be too busy! Great spot for public transportation too. Staff: friendly, helpful. Got us what we needed. Cleanliness: everything was clean, and they changed our towels/linen daily which was appreciated. Bed was very comfy. THERE WAS A MICROWAVE!
